What's a kid to do when she's the one everybody else picks on? Kris, an 8-year old girl, is tired of being the object of her siblings' tricks. So into her imagination she travels, where she meets Brer Rabbit, of Uncle Remus fame, who shows her that by using some 'rabbit sense,' even the smallest creatures can outsmart the biggest beasts. Even Brer Turtle pops in with his own tale of 'turtle trickery' as the animals reenact the infamous race between the steadfast turtle and the overzealous rabbit. Finally, back at home, Kris puts to use what she has learned and is victorious over her older sister when she accuses her of eating her treasured potato chips.
